Sunday afternoon in Taibei

After the long queues waiting to catch the cable car at Mao Kong, the ride up was spectacular! It was worth taking the glass bottom cars as it added an extra dimension to the view.

Once up the top, we wandered through a few tea houses before stopping for a late lunch. Since the queue was pretty long at the return cable car station, we decided to have coffee and cake and watch the night lights over the city.

The best part of Taibei in October is the weather. Almost spring like in nature, the air is cool but not cold enough to wear another layer. Perfect travel weather.
