Sometimes, in order to find good Chinese food, one has to go a lot further than Din Tai Fung. Don't get me wrong, Din Tai Fung has great Chinese food but if you are after more than 'bao' then check this place out.
This little eatery is not found in the back streets of Chinatown. Nor is it somewhere hip or trendy like East Coast. Sum's Kitchen is located in the north. Yishun or Sembawang to be precise.

The style of cooking is very southern Chinese. My favorite is the duck and the pork. Be prepared to blow the diet away so perhaps a good walk is highly recommended afterwards. Another great meat dish is the minced pork with salty fish. This one was a favorite of mine on the day. All of this can be washed down with Chinese tea.
