Great local food - a Saturday tradition

Every Saturday I head off to Coronation Plaza to do shopping. A tradition is to have lunch at My Cosy Corner.

If anyone loves local dishes this is a great place to eat. Popiah, Mee Siam, Laksa or Kueh Pie Tie. My favourite is their curry chicken but it is hit or miss whether they have it ready to sell. They also do simple Japanese dishes.

This little eatery gets busy on a Saturday so you might have to wait. I often enjoy a quick chat in Chinese with the aunty who keeps everyone on their toes.

Located on the second floor of Coronation Plaza it's a slice of real Singapore and I'm here right now as I publish this post!
